In line with its mission that involves the concrete affirmation of universal human rights, starting from the rights of the most vulnerable and discriminated groups, promoting inclusive education as the favoured method for complete personal development and the creation of fair, supportive and democratic communities and societies, EducAid adheres to active citizenship projects for younger generations on the national territory.
During the years, it has collaborated with local authorities and civil society organizations on interventions to promote global citizenship education actions in coherence with the 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals, the action plan aimed at eradicating poverty, guaranteeing prosperity and peace, and protecting the planet.
The most exemplifying projects in this regard are: “The World is Home”, promoted by the Municipality of Rimini, with lab activities in city schools and teacher refresher courses coordinated by EducAid for three editions;
“Apprendo”, conceived by the Cooperative Il Millepiedi with the support of the Foundation Con i Bambini, in which it has managed digital twinning between children of different countries;
“Shaping fair cities”, financed by the European Commission in the program DEAR and realized by the Emilia Romagna Region;
“#dirittoalcuore” and “Voci per Gaza” organized thanks to the contribution of the regional call to promote a culture of peace.
