After 12 years of civil war, the process of pacification and democratization of the country started, in 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Even though war ended over 30 years ago, the wounds left are still very deep and are highlighted in different ways, such as the daily violence perpetrated by \u201cmaras\u201d, gangs of young Salvadoran criminals, formed in the United States during war and deported in El Salvador once the conflict ended, and the USA migration phenomenon, that represents one of the main causes of family disintegration. In this socio-economic landscape, the education system plays a fundamental role in the process of changing the Salvadoran society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EducAid has collaborated for over 10 years<\/strong> with the Salvadoran Ministry of Education to realize projects aimed at promoting the right to education for all, through inclusive processes involving schools and local communities.
