Workshops and Play activities facilitating social inclusion for children are supporting the work started five years ago consisting of activities for children of governmental school performed by educators and animators of Remedial Education Centre. EducAid had trained REC educators and provided them with a Playbus (mobile unit with games supply), it has putting them in the condition of proposing many kinds of educational activities and games. This action intends to develop activities facilitating the inclusion of disadvantaged children through the introduction of periodical workshops for the children of the classrooms of six schools.

The workshops will be organized on these main issues:

Ability Development: the purpose is to empower the children attention, memory, behaviors. It is done through special materials built by the educators and animators;
How to face the Learning Difficulties: according to the class attended by the children, the educators propose didactic matters (Math, Arabic etc..), using special techniques, educational games, dramas, puppet theatre, creation of fairy tales;
Free expression and Play: The purpose is to break the rigidity and the formality of the Palestinian school system. Educators let the children play with wooden games, big balloons, hula hoops, stilts, etc. Moreover animators organize cooperative games, able to empower the personal abilities of each child (in spite of deficit and difficulties).
